Born out of passion. Grown with perseverance.
Mothus is a project founded on ambition and with enthusiasm we have transformed our idea into reality. By brining golf in one of most interesting places in northern Italy, we can elevate it to the next level and create unforgettable memories.
The famous french architect Le Corbusier (1887 – 1965) once defined them as "the most beautiful architectonic work in the world”.
There are few more breathtaking golf courses around the world and the golf course in Alta Badia certainly needs to be on the bucket list of every golfer.
The Dolomites offer up a magnificent panorama: mountains constructed with walls of rock, ice caps, karst systems, unbelievably high spires, towers and pinnacles – mountains molded and shaped by the elements, and where the cultures of Italy, Germany and the native Ladin community all meet and intertwine.
Since June 2009, the Dolomites are part of the UNESCO World Heritage and are therefore officially one of the most beautiful mountains in the world.
A particularly interesting phenomenon is observable at dusk and dawn when the mountains turn pink and then gradually violet. The locals call it "Enrosadira", it is a ladin term literally meaning “turning pink” (ladin is the ancient language of the inhabitants of the Dolomites).
The Golf Club Alta Badia is embedded in this beautiful panorama with the absolutely stunning views on the trademark mountains of Alta Badia, Sella and Sassongher.
